Founded in 2001, 1st Care soon acquired two nursing homes under the direction and leadership of its Managing Director, Mrs Jagruti Patel, a qualified pharmacist. 1st Care is registered with the CQC to provide nursing care for up to 67 people across its two nursing homes – Acorn Care Home in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham (a 31-bed specialist service for males with working-age dementia) and Orrell Grange Nursing Home in Liverpool (a 36-bed service for older people with physical healthcare needs).
The Company is proud to be a family-sized business, and Mrs Patel, as the sole owner, ensures she maintains a close and personal connection with both residents and staff.
